Cool Coffee Mugs For Movie Fans 

I'm totally stoked to have our The Lost Boys movie coffee mug arrive in store this week, it came out beautifully in print and this coffee mug would make a wonderful gift for your favourite movie fan / buff /addict. Filmophile even, if you want to be fancy about.

Being a big fan of film, and indeed as the horror genre in particular is rather revered by me, I count The Lost Boys is one of my favourite movies and so I decided - why not immortalise it's cinematographic genius on a coffee mug? And a greeting card. And a badge pin too :D 

This 1987 movie release is closing in on being 30 years old, and yet I remember it like it was yesterday. Probably because I only watched it a few weeks ago as part of a determined plot to get my 15 year old daughter to fall in love with it also. 

The Lost Boys retro movie classic tells the tale of two brothers who move with their recently divorced mother to California (to the fictional beach town of Santa Carla), only to find that this 'murder capital of the world' is rife with vampires - seriously cool teenage vampires to be precise.

Apparently the film title is a reference to the Lost Boys in J. M. Barrie's stories about Peter Pan and Netherland - about a boy who would not grow up. As if The Lost Boys vampire flick could not be cool enough already, this reference really is the epitomy of film title inspiration excellence.

The Lost Boys Movie Soundtrack

Not content with being a classic 80's horror movie only, the soundtrack to the film is banging also. Though I'd have to say that on observation I feel music plays a huge part in the success of a movie, and so it's not surprising that The Lost Boys movie contains some classic tracks.

One favourite for most people is Cry Little Sister by Tom Mac. Best recent movie soundtrack? Hands down it's Suicide Squad.
