I know that you're all about the flamingo print gifts this summer, and flamingo fever is well underway this year as gift, homeware and fashion retailers all compete to create the very best flamingo products for you.
I've compiled a list of the best flamingo gifts I've found from British designer makers, because it's nice to shop independent and it's also good to bolster the Uk economy by supporting our British designer makers.
1. Flamingo lampshade by Mountain and Molehill
This lampshade is Alice in Wonderland themed and described as 'Curious Croquet - Alice in Wonderland Lampshade'. Although the notion of a flamingo lampshade sounds tacky in theory, it's actually very tasteful and classy.
This flamingo treat has been produced by London-based Elizabeth Smallman.
2. Flamingo earrings by Hoobynoo
Wonderfully kitsch pink flamingo earrings created in hard wearing waterproof acrylic from Hoobynoo's original illustration and available on silver plated, surgical steel and sterling silver hooks.
Hoobynoo earrings are all handmade by themselves in the UK.
3. Flamingo hip flask by Taylor Two
A tropical flamingo hip flask design hand printed by ourselves in England and delivered to you in a handmade eco friendly gift box.
Reminiscinent of the 1950's, this rockabilly style summer drinks gift is created using durable waterproof vinyl wrap ... so the good news is that your overflowing gin won't damage the design.
4. Flamingo leggings by Fred and Noah
Fred and Noah offer a wide range of children's clothing, all made in the UK. Their pale blue and pink flamingo leggings are available in sizes newborn to 4 years old.
Just as gorgeous they also stock a flamingo print dress in white and pink. Apparently matching 'mama and child' headbands are also available so that mum can get in on the flamingo fashion action.
5. Flamingo dog collar from Ditsy Pet
Boasting collar sizes ranging from 'Chihuahua up to Labrador', Ditzy Pet goes the extra mile and even offers custom sizes on request for their buckle clasp flamingo dog collar.
If you love their design you'll be excited to know it comes in flamingo lead, flamingo bandana and more.

6. Blank Inside flamingo pencil case
Blank Inside take inspiration for their products from the natural world and offer another tasteful and classy take (as opposed to kitsch and colourful) on flamingo print fabric with their flamingo pencil case.
Liz Temperley is the designer behind Blank Inside, who hand draws and paints each of the illustrations in the range. Also concerned about the environmental impact of retail products Liz advises;
"I am aiming more and more to not only create beautiful things but think about their impact on the environment too, carefully sourcing eco friendly paper stocks and choosing the right production for each product - and always using UK suppliers."
7. Lou Rota London Flamingo Ceramics
Lou Rota sell a beautiful range of flamingo print dinner ware, including plates, bowls, mugs, tea pots and more. Some items in the range such as their tea pots, would make a wonderful singular gift, or the entire range as a wedding gift.
Their whimsical Alice in Wonderland inspired flamingo design adorns white fine bone china produced in Staffordshire in a region know as 'the Potteries'. Other designs in their range include Scarab Beetle and Hummingbird.
8. Flamingo Oven Glove by Yvonne Ellen
A good gift for a foodie / cook Yvonne Ellen's flamingo print oven glove has a tropical flavour, combining pink and black flamingos with matching pinneaples on a white background.
Not the most practical of oven gloves in terms of colour (the second you use them they get smeared with oil, food etc), but sure to look stunning in anyone's kitchen and it's machine washable at 40 degrees.

9. Flamingo wash bag by Rosa and Clara
The mint coloured flamingo wash bag by Rosa and Clara is cute, trendy and super practical as has a PVC coated cotton outer and nylon lining and comes in two different sizes. It's also available in pale blue, but I think it looks best in mint.
Rosa and Clara are firm believers in supporting British industry and therefore founder Jessica Hayman only works with British manufacturers and printers.
Their wash bags are printed in Lancashire and handmade in Leamington Spa. Impressive.
10. Flamingo skirt handmade by Lily and Giraffe
Last but not least we have handmade children's fashion from Lily and Giraffe, who offer this handmade flamingo print skirt in a wide range of sizes from 1 to 10 years old.
What I particularly like about this skirt is the waistband being a different pattern, which seems to be an interesting quirk of much Lily and Giraffe's clothing range.
