Anniversary Gifts That Mean Something

I illustrated this greeting card design today, because it means something to me. For me this would make the perfect Valentines card or a super cute accompaniment for my fiancee's anniversary gifts.

For my partner and I, this is all about what a complete ditz I am. I'm not really into watching tv and probably watch far less than the average person - as a result I sometimes forget which button on the remote control is for a given function and pretty well embarress myself within the family by fumbling with the remote control like an 80 year old woman trying to get to grips with Snapchat.

My fiancee is hence then forced to take it from me and 'save me'.  Making him my remote control hero, or as I creatively like to think of it "Master of the magic wand".

This greeting card would make a lovely sentiment rather like the immensely popular 'Love Is...' range of gifts and greeting cards from the 1980's illustrated by Kim Cassali - which were used heavily as anniversary gifts and valentines too. They're still available as Love Is ... collectables.

Unfortunately my fiancee already saw it on my art board last night, so I can't give it to him, which was pretty stupid of me, BUT I hope that someone out there has a similar 'Love is ...' situation and can enjoy giving this card along with perhaps anniversary gifts or valentines gifts for their loved one.
